New Delhi: March 30 (NationPress) In celebration of Rajasthan Day, Kapil Mishra, the Minister for Art, Culture & Languages, Tourism, and Labour, conveyed best wishes to citizens of both the country and the state on behalf of the Delhi government.

A vibrant cultural program unfolded at the Delhi Secretariat, highlighting Rajasthan’s rich cultural legacy.

The event was organized by the Department of Art, Culture and Languages through Sahitya Kala Parishad, as stated in an official announcement.

Mishra remarked that Rajasthan is celebrated worldwide for its heroic tales, cultural richness, and colorful traditions.

He acknowledged the vital role played by the residents of Rajasthan living in Delhi in the city’s progression.

The Minister noted that under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the Delhi government is commemorating State Foundation Days in alignment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat–Shreshtha Bharat’.

These efforts embody the collective ambition of fostering national unity and striving for a developed Delhi. Such events are crucial in exhibiting India’s diverse cultural heritage and imparting it to younger generations, he added.

The program included traditional music and dance performances from Rajasthan’s folk culture. Approximately 25 artists participated, delivering captivating renditions of Kalbelia, Ghoomar, and Bhavai, which mesmerized the audience.

Mishra emphasized that such events are pivotal in advancing cultural harmony across the capital.

Earlier in the day, Mishra attended a special screening of the film ‘Dhurandhar – The Revenge’ (Dhurandhar-2) alongside citizens and media personnel as part of the International Film Festival, Delhi (IFFD).

On this occasion, he stated, “Every soldier serving and protecting the nation is a true hero of India, and their contributions will always be held in the highest regard.”

He noted that films like Uri, Shershaah, and Dhurandhar underscore the dedication and sacrifices of the armed forces. Such films foster patriotism and invigorate the youth.

The Cabinet Minister conveyed that under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, ‘New India’ is swiftly progressing towards self-reliance in the security domain, with defense capabilities consistently being enhanced.
