New Delhi, July 27 (NationPress) In a significant operation against organized crime, Delhi Police have dismantled a gambling racket with the apprehension of four individuals in the outer district of the national capital.
The arrested suspects have been identified as Vivek, 27; Pardeep Kake, 24; Mahesh, 49; and Akbar, 22, all hailing from Sultanpuri, according to Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Sharma who made the announcement on Sunday.
Following a tip-off regarding the illegal activity, a police squad conducted a raid on the designated site on Friday. Upon arrival, they observed a group of individuals seated on the floor, actively participating in illegal gambling.
