New Delhi, July 5 (NationPress) BJP legislator and Speaker of the Delhi Legislative Assembly, Vijender Gupta, paid homage to Swami Vivekananda during a special event held in Rohini on Saturday.
The Speaker urged the youth to adopt the principles of Swami Vivekananda in their daily lives and to actively engage in shaping an inclusive, empowered, and self-sufficient India.
Gupta portrayed Swami Vivekananda as not just a spiritual leader, but as a key figure in India’s cultural revival, motivating countless young individuals towards self-reliance, confidence, and devoted service to the nation.
He was speaking at a tribute event organized by the Vivekananda Senior Citizens’ Forum in Rohini, Sector-8.
On Sunday, Union Railway Minister Ashwani Vaishnav will lay floral tributes to Syama Prasad Mookerjee on his birth anniversary at an event near Delhi Gate, as announced by a local BJP leader.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and other BJP dignitaries are also expected to attend the gathering at the Syama Prasad Mookerjee Statue Park, located opposite the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium Main Gate at Feroz Shah Kotla Ground.
