Bhubaneswar, July 21 (NationPress) Following two alarming incidents of fire in recent days, the Odisha government has enforced a complete prohibition on the sale of petrol in plastic bottles statewide.
Officials from various departments, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), oil companies, and petroleum dealers’ associations convened to discourage the distribution of petrol in plastic containers from any petrol station.
Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra conducted a thorough meeting with representatives from various petroleum associations and officials from different departments in his office at Lok Seva Bhawan on this matter.
