New Delhi, June 7 (NationPress) The development of rural areas is a fundamental aspect of the BJP government’s vision for a Viksit Delhi, according to Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, who stated on Saturday that, under the leadership of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, citizens now perceive the city as embarking on a renewed path of growth.

At the foundation stone-laying ceremony for the reconstruction of a stadium in Jharoda Kalan village, along with the establishment of new badminton and basketball courts, Sachdeva remarked, “The journey to transform Delhi into the capital of a developed India starts from its villages. Thus, rural development will continue to be a primary focus.”

Accompanied by West Delhi MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the Delhi BJP president indicated that the stadium, being renovated by the MCD under the Gramodaya Yojana with the support of Councillor Amit Kharkhari, aims to cultivate the talents of athletes hailing from rural regions.

Sachdeva motivated the boys and girls’ football teams in attendance by providing them with incentive funds, encouraging them to bring honor to their village and surrounding area through commitment.
