Demonstrations in Rajasthan Against Violence Targeting Hindus in Bangladesh

Jaipur, Dec 4 (NationPress) The Sarva Hindu Samaj held a protest in Jaipur, Rajasthan on Wednesday, voicing concerns over the violence, looting, and killings of Hindus in Bangladesh.

A significant turnout of women, youth, and saints joined the demonstration at Badi Chaupad in Jaipur. Speakers at the event urged the Hindu community to rise above caste biases and come together to condemn these atrocities.

"We must be vigilant. If we stay divided, we will be weak; only through unity can we gain strength," emphasized the protesting saints.

Throughout the protest, chants of 'Jai Shri Ram' echoed, with participants displaying placards and saffron flags that promoted the message of 'Hindu unity' while advocating for the protection of Hindus in Bangladesh.

Acharya Girdhar Swami criticized Mahatma Gandhi's principle of non-violence, stating, "Since the Noakhali massacre, one crore Hindus have lost their lives. This is the outcome of Gandhi's non-violent approach. Today, the safety of Hindus in Bangladesh is at risk, and we cannot even conduct a bhajan evening in Ramganj Market. As long as we rely on governments, the atrocities will persist."

Ram Singh Chandlai, President of the Rajput Sabha, demanded that the Bangladesh government take decisive action to prevent the violence against Hindus. Raghupati Das from Akshaya Patra urged the international community to pressure Bangladesh to safeguard its Hindu population.

Mahant Vishnu Naga attributed the violence against Hindus in Bangladesh to leftist and Islamic extremist factions, advising Hindus to remain united.

Chandraprakash Khetani from the Sindhi community expressed sorrow over the occurrences in Bangladesh and criticized the response of global organizations.

Sardar Jasvir Singh from the Sikh community described the arrest of the ISKCON saint as undemocratic and called for global intervention.

Raghavendra Acharya from Galav Ashram emphasized the need for a global campaign for the release of ISKCON saint Chinmay Krishna, stating, "We should not be under the illusion that we are safe due to our majority; we face discontent even in majority situations."

MLA Gopal Sharma exposed the true nature of the Bangladesh government, asserting that while it may appear liberal, the real power lies with Jamaat-e-Islamia and military leaders. "This is why we are witnessing atrocities and massacres against Hindus. Bangladesh must alter its stance promptly," he remarked.
