Patna, Nov 15 (NationPress) Jan Suraaj Party's National President Uday Singh on Saturday asserted that the Bihar government had effectively purchased the NDA's substantial majority in the Assembly elections. He emphasized that the state urgently requires a clean government and called for the dismissal of tainted ministers.
During a press conference at Sheikhpura House on Bailey Road, Patna, he alleged that approximately Rs 40,000 crore of public funds had been utilized for cash transfers that swayed voters, along with Rs 14,000 crore from a World Bank loan.
“Such tactics have been seen before in the country, but this marks the first instance where a state government has expended such an enormous sum. Consequently, resources for education, employment, and health have significantly diminished,” Singh stated.
When queried, he remarked that Prashant Kishor’s previous comment about the JD(U) not securing 25 seats was made under different conditions.
He asserted that the landscape changed once the government opened its treasury, making JD(U)’s surge in seats unavoidable.
