Nemra (Jharkhand), Aug 16 (NationPress) In a heartfelt tribute, thousands of individuals gathered in Nemra village, located in Jharkhand's Ramgarh district, on Saturday to participate in the Shraddh Sanskar Bhoj honoring Shibu Soren, a prominent figure in the Jharkhand movement and serving Rajya Sabha MP, affectionately referred to as Dishom Guru.
By 2 p.m., approximately 70,000 attendees had come to pay their respects, with expectations that the total would exceed three lakh by the evening.
Among the distinguished attendees were Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Jharkhand Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev, and numerous other dignitaries.
“Shibu Soren ji is no longer with us. I extend my tribute on behalf of myself, my party, and the government,” stated Rajnath Singh.
