In an official announcement from the party headquarters, the DMK pointed out that the Budget Session of the Tamil Nadu Assembly is set to begin on February 17 and will run until February 21.
With senior leaders and ministers fully occupied with legislative duties during this timeframe, talks with alliance partners are scheduled to begin immediately after, on February 22.

DMK MP Kanimozhi previously emphasized that the relationship between the DMK and the Congress remains robust and amicable. She expressed optimism that the negotiations would unfold seamlessly, highlighting the durability of the current alliance.
