Hyderabad, Jan 14 (NationPress) A man and a woman were discovered murdered within the jurisdiction of Narsingi Police Station on the outskirts of Hyderabad on Tuesday.
The remains were located on a hillock close to the Ananta Padmanabha Swamy temple in Puppalaguda, under the jurisdiction of Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. A group of young people, who had ascended the hillock to witness the sunrise, stumbled upon the body of a man and promptly notified the authorities via ‘Dial 100’. Police swiftly arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation.
Upon their arrival, officers found the body of a woman approximately 60 meters away. Both victims are estimated to be between the ages of 30 and 35. Authorities indicated that both individuals had been stabbed and subsequently crushed by boulders. It is suspected that the murders occurred on Monday night. Nearby, officers discovered beer bottles and other items.
The bodies were transported to Osmania Hospital for autopsy procedures. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to gather evidence.
