New Delhi, Dec 27 (NationPress) Janata Dal (United) National Spokesperson Rajeev Ranjan Prasad on Saturday expressed strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's statements regarding India's youth, asserting that the nation is resolutely focused on empowering its younger generations to steer the country towards becoming a developed global entity.

In response to the Prime Minister’s insights on Gen Z and Gen Alpha, Prasad characterized the moment as both significant and visionary.

“This marks a touching moment, where the contributions of the veer balak were recognized,” Prasad remarked, adding, “India is a forward-thinking nation, and the world regards it as one of immense potential. Under Prime Minister Modi's leadership, considerable strides have been made to empower youth through job creation and skill enhancement initiatives. This unequivocally indicates that India is poised to reach new heights on the international platform.”

The JDU representative’s comments followed Prime Minister Modi's emphasis on the pivotal role of the youth in nation-building, asserting that fresh policies are being developed with a keen focus on youth empowerment.

While addressing the Veer Baal Diwas event at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, the Prime Minister noted that today’s children and youth embody Gen Z and Gen Alpha, and it will be their era that leads India toward the ambition of becoming a developed nation (Viksit Bharat).

He expressed trust in their capabilities, stating that he perceives and appreciates their competence and confidence, which is why he relies greatly on them.

Quoting a traditional saying, the Prime Minister explained that even if a child speaks with wisdom, their words should be respected, underscoring that greatness is determined by deeds rather than age. He emphasized that the youth possess the potential to achieve remarkable feats that inspire society, many of whom have already showcased this talent across various fields.

However, he cautioned that these accomplishments should be seen merely as a starting point. He indicated that there is a great deal more to achieve, with larger goals ahead and aspirations that must be taken “to the skies.” His remarks aimed to encourage the youth to relentlessly pursue excellence and innovation.

Resonating with this vision, Rajeev Ranjan Prasad noted that the Prime Minister’s outlook reflects a long-term dedication to nurturing human capital through education, skill development, and job creation.

He further stated that empowering the youth is not only vital for economic advancement but also crucial for enhancing India’s standing on the global stage.
