Emulating the Legacy of Guru Gobind Singh, Asserts Punjab Chief Minister

Chandigarh, Jan 6 (NationPress) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann reaffirmed his commitment to serving the state with fervor, dedication, and integrity while emulating the exemplary path of Dashmesh Pita Guru Gobind Singh.
The Chief Minister, who offered his respects at Gurdwara Bhatha Sahib, extended greetings to the populace on the sacred occasion of the Prakash Parv of the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh. He emphasized that the revered Sikh leader imparted lessons on combating tyranny, injustice, and oppression.
Mann urged that on this holy day, “we must all pledge to fulfill our responsibilities with the highest degree of sincerity, dedication, and commitment to serve the community.” He noted that the life and teachings of Guru Gobind Singh serve as a unifying force for the entire nation.
He remarked that the universal message of peace, humanism, love, and brotherhood espoused by Guru Gobind Singh holds immense relevance in today’s context. Mann stated that the government “is adhering to the principles laid down by Guru Gobind Singh to secure the welfare of every segment of society.”
The Chief Minister also paid his respects at Gurdwara Sahib, praying for the peace, progress, and prosperity of the state. He expressed a desire for the values of communal harmony, peace, and brotherhood to be reinforced daily, allowing Punjab to lead the nation in all aspects.
Mann called on the people to commemorate this hallowed occasion with the utmost reverence and dedication, transcending the limitations of caste, color, creed, and religion.
In a tribute, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated, “Guru Gobind Singh-ji was a warrior, poet, and spiritual leader who stood against injustice, casteism, and inequality. His establishment of the Khalsa Panth and supreme sacrifice for humanity continue to motivate the values of bravery, peace, and justice in India.”
“I bow to Sri Guru Gobind Singh-ji on his Prakash Utsav. His ideologies encourage us to create a society that is progressive, prosperous, and compassionate,” PM Modi remarked on X.
