Jaipur, Sep 6 (NationPress) Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma revealed that by 2027, farmers in Rajasthan will have access to daytime electricity, transforming them into not only food producers but also energy suppliers.
He further emphasized that the state government is taking stringent measures against paper leak mafias while pledging to create 4 lakh government jobs for the youth within the next five years.
Sharma mentioned that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the government is committed to the principles of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. He stated that Rajasthan is making significant progress towards becoming a developed and leading state.
In realization of the Antyodaya vision of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the government is ensuring that the benefits of state schemes reach every individual, especially those at the bottom of the socio-economic ladder.
On Saturday, Sharma inaugurated the Shri Parshuram Gyanpeeth (Centre for Excellence and Research) building, established by the Vipra Foundation on Shipra Path, Mansarovar, and addressed the gathering.
He noted that Lord Parshuram teaches us that the union of truth and justice brings forth enlightenment and values. This institute aims to promote Sanatan culture and Vedic knowledge, serving as a Triveni of Vidya, Sanskar, and Seva to guide society through education and values.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the commitments made to the populace are being honored. Major initiatives like the Ram Jalsetu Link Project and the Yamuna Water Agreement have been undertaken to cater to water needs. Financial support has been allocated for the Indira Gandhi Canal and the Ganga Canal.
Water availability has been enhanced through the construction of a tunnel and an anicut as part of the Dewas Project in Udaipur.
Sharma also highlighted the Karmabhoomi se Matribhoomi campaign, where returning migrants from Rajasthan are actively constructing thousands of water conservation structures in villages.
He stressed that crucial steps are being taken to ensure Rajasthan becomes self-sufficient in energy. By 2027, farmers will be supplied with electricity during the day. “Now, our farmers will be not only food providers but also energy providers,” he stated.
He recalled the success of last year’s Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit, which attracted investment proposals exceeding Rs 35 lakh crore.
Regarding the youth, he mentioned that the government acted decisively against paper leak mafias right after assuming office. As promised, 4 lakh government jobs will be provided in the upcoming five years.
The Chief Minister stated that since 2014, under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, every sector has experienced positive transformations. Initiatives like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, and Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam have raised social awareness.
He reported that the state government planted 7.5 crore saplings last year and has already planted over 11 crore saplings in the current year to enhance the greenery of Rajasthan.
Sharma added that the state government has increased funding to cow shelters and is consistently working towards the welfare of farmers, women, youth, and the underprivileged. He urged the community to actively ensure that the benefits of government schemes reach every deserving individual.
