New Delhi, Sep 18 (NationPress) A fugitive implicated in a shocking murder case within the Sarita Vihar Police Station jurisdiction was apprehended by law enforcement on Thursday. This arrest occurred in Gurugram after the suspect had been evading capture for two years.
The individual, identified as 27-year-old Somnath Patro, was the primary suspect in the 2023 murder of a man in Sarita Vihar, eluding authorities since the incident.
Declared a Proclaimed Offender by a Delhi court, Somnath had been a fugitive since the case's registration.
On September 15, 2023, a 39-year-old man named Ardhendu Mandal, residing at House No. C-143, Gali No. 9, Aali Vihar in Sarita Vihar, was brutally murdered by Somnath and his accomplices using a knife.
