Gautam Adani outlines Adani Group growth strategy on Labour Day 2025
Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, on 1 May 2025 outlined a comprehensive growth strategy centred on worker welfare, local employment, and grassroots entrepreneurship, as the conglomerate accelerates capital expenditure backed by strong liquidity. Addressing the Group's workforce on International Labour Day from Ahmedabad, Adani positioned its nearly 4,00,000 employees, partners, and contractors as the core of India's nation-building effort.
Key Pillars of the Strategy
The growth blueprint rests on three pillars: worker welfare and local hiring, a streamlined organisational structure, and a strengthened contractor partnership model. The Group, which operates more than 700 assets across 24 states, will prioritise local hiring at project sites — offering opportunities first to nearby communities, then to candidates from within the state, and finally from outside only where required.
