Ahmedabad, Oct 19 (NationPress) In celebration of Vikram Samvat 2082 (the Hindu New Year), Gujarat's Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will engage with the public to share New Year and Diwali wishes on Monday at various venues in Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad, as stated by government officials on Sunday.
The day will kick off at 7 a.m. on Monday with Chief Minister Patel performing prayers at the Panchdev temple in Gandhinagar, heralding the start of the Hindu New Year.
At 7:30 a.m., he will head to the Trimandir in Adalaj for darshan and pujan.
After the temple visits, the Chief Minister will stop at the community centre in the Ministerial Residential Complex at 8 a.m., where he will interact with citizens and receive their New Year wishes.
At 8:50 a.m., Chief Minister Patel will meet Governor Acharya Devvrat at the Raj Bhavan to extend his New Year greetings.
In Ahmedabad, he will first pray at the Bhadrakali Mata Temple at 10 a.m., followed by citizen interactions at the Annexi State Guest House in Shahibaug at 10:30 a.m.
Additionally, he will attend a special event at the Police Officers' Mess in Shahibaug Daphnala at 11:45 a.m., where he will convey New Year wishes to senior police officials and their families.
The Chief Minister will also meet with the Cabinet Ministers of his government.
