New Delhi, Nov 16 (NationPress) In celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a significant unity march alongside various other activities took place nationwide on Sunday, reinforcing the national sentiment of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat".
The Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat, Harsh Sanghvi, spearheaded a large Unity March in the Majura Assembly constituency of Surat, emphasizing that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has presented the nation with a "historic vision of unity" following the NDA’s decisive win in Bihar.
"PM Modi has exemplified remarkable unity in India after a prolonged period. This unity is grounded in a singular principle -- development, development, and development; India First, India First, and India First," Sanghvi expressed to IANS during the march.
He remarked that, at the Prime Minister’s behest, citizens from Kashmir to Kanyakumari are engaging in unity events honoring Sardar Patel.
Deputy CM Sanghvi participated in the eight-kilometre Majura Unity March alongside thousands of locals.
"Everywhere I turn, I see people proudly saluting Sardar Saheb's statue. Individuals from every community and every segment of society are involved," he stated.
