Harish Rao Claims False Charges Filed Against Chief Minister

Hyderabad, Dec 3 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader T. Harish Rao vehemently criticized Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday following the registration of a case against him for alleged illegal phone tapping. The former minister accused the Chief Minister of fabricating false charges due to his discomfort with Rao's consistent challenges to his actions and transparency on behalf of the people.
In a post on X, Harish Rao asserted that the Chief Minister is only capable of committing errors and levying false accusations. He emphasized that no matter how many baseless cases the Chief Minister files against him, he will remain undeterred in bringing attention to the Chief Minister's wrongdoings.
Rao highlighted several instances of cases that have been lodged against him across the state, including one at the Yadagirigutta Police Station for asserting that the Chief Minister betrayed even divine entities regarding the crop loan waiver issue.
Another case was noted at the Begum Bazar Police Station, stemming from his statements regarding the Chief Minister's unfulfilled promises.
Additionally, he mentioned a false case filed against him in Manakondur for criticizing the Chief Minister.
“Your inability to tolerate my efforts to unveil your hypocrisy and hold you accountable before the public has led to a false allegation against me at the Panjagutta Police Station. Regardless of how many unwarranted cases you file, I will persist in questioning you on behalf of the people until you face justice through their verdict,” declared Harish Rao.
A complaint by G. Chakradhar Goud, a real estate entrepreneur, resulted in the case against Harish Rao and others being registered at Panjagutta Police Station in Hyderabad.
The complainant accused them of harassment, intimidation, and unauthorized phone surveillance.
The Panjagutta Police proceeded to register charges under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 120(B) (criminal conspiracy), 386 (extortion), 409 (criminal breach of trust), 506 (criminal intimidation), and section 66 of the Information Technology Act.
Goud's complaint claimed that Harish Rao harbored resentment towards him due to his philanthropic endeavors, which included financial assistance to families of farmers who had committed suicide. The allegations detailed threats, fabricated charges, and unauthorized monitoring of his phone by Harish Rao and his associates.
