Chandigarh, Feb 26 (NationPress) Haryana's Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini, addressed the Assembly on Thursday, condemning the actions of Indian Youth Congress (IYC) members at the India AI Summit in New Delhi, stating it has brought disgrace to India's reputation on an international level and is entirely unacceptable.

During the Budget session, he emphasized that, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a prestigious AI Summit was organized, attracting global participants.

Yet, the unseemly behavior of the Youth Congress workers at the event has caused embarrassment to the nation on a global platform, the Chief Minister remarked.

He pointed out that since this era is focused on artificial intelligence (AI), the state government had previously announced the establishment of two AI hubs in Gurugram and Panchkula.

In response to a query, state Health Minister Arti Singh Rao stated that the government is actively enhancing healthcare services throughout the state under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana.

This initiative offers around 2,694 treatment packages, including surgical procedures, daycare treatments, medications, and diagnostic tests.

As of February 20, the total number of active Ayushman cards in Haryana reached 1,38,47,905, with all 2,694 treatment packages accessible under the Ayushman Bharat-Chirayu Haryana Scheme. Treatments not covered by these packages are categorized as 'unspecified' and are processed accordingly at empaneled hospitals.

She further added that from November 2022 to February 17, 2026, the total treatments conducted under the Ayushman scheme in the state amounted to 14,28,872, with hospitals receiving reimbursements of ₹2,010,33,66,180 based on processed claims.

In another inquiry, Public Health Engineering Minister Ranbir Gangwa noted the Chief Minister's dedication to ensuring that the 'Har Ghar Nal Se Jaal' initiative brings tap water to every home.

To realize this vision, the department is diligently working on providing drinking water in newly developed regular colonies.

Responding to Geeta Bhukkal's question, he mentioned that plans for drinking water supply in 25 regular colonies in Jhajjar have been developed, and project estimates are complete.

The minister stated that nine villages in the Jhajjar constituency, including Jhajjar city, are benefitting from canal-based drinking water supply systems that meet prescribed standards.

In another response, Development and Panchayats Minister Krishna Lal Panwar explained that due to the rise in rural populations, the government has designated villages with over 10,000 residents as 'Mahagram.'

These Mahagrams are being equipped with urban-style sewer systems and essential infrastructure to enhance rural living standards, Panwar stated.

He also addressed waterlogging issues in the main lanes of the Julana-Shadipur market, caused by blockages in existing drainage systems. To address this, the government has established an inter-departmental committee chaired by the Chief Executive Officer of the Zila Parishad of Jind.
