Chandigarh, Jan 27 (NationPress) - The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, on Monday presented a comprehensive plan for the overall growth of the state, commemorating the first 100 days of the BJP administration.

The Chief Minister revealed that the government is set to establish 10 advanced industrial towns throughout Haryana, inspired by the model of IMT Kharkhoda, to enhance the state’s industrial framework.

He informed the press that 25,000 MW of electricity will be harnessed from renewable energy sources, aimed at powering industrial facilities across the state and the NCR.

To tackle environmental issues, especially the release of chemical and industrial waste, the government will implement cutting-edge sewerage treatment plants in Panipat, Faridabad, and Gurugram.

Additionally, the government will accelerate the development of the Integrated Multi-Modal Logistics Hub in Narnaul and Mahendragarh to enhance connectivity.

In partnership with the central government’s PM Mega Integrated Textile Area and Apparel (PM MITRA) initiative, Haryana will create an integrated textile marketplace in Ambala, the state’s primary textile center.

The Chief Minister also underscored the administration’s commitment to the pharmaceutical industry, with initiatives to expedite the formation of a Pharma Park in Karnal, leveraging the growth of the pharmaceutical sector through the Product Linked Incentive Scheme and the Haryana Pharmaceutical Policy of 2015.

A Defence and Aerospace Hub will be established in Mahendragarh under a public-private partnership (PPP) framework, designed to enhance the state’s presence in the defence arena.

To further bolster industrial expansion, the state will develop a new 10,000-acre land bank through the e-Bhoomi portal.

Moreover, a new policy will mandate government entities to incur an eight percent interest charge on any overdue payments.

The Chief Minister expressed optimism that these innovative strategies will establish a robust foundation for Haryana’s contribution to India’s aspiration of becoming a developed nation by 2047, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He noted that over the past 100 days, the government has tirelessly worked and accomplished 18 of the 240 ‘sankalps’ detailed in the Sankalp Patra.

Additionally, progress is ongoing at six of the objectives, and efforts to secure both administrative and financial approvals for an extra 50 decisions are currently in process.
