Chandigarh, Oct 16 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, is set to deliver a speech at a significant state-level event commemorating the one-year anniversary of his administration at the Indradhanush Auditorium in Panchkula tomorrow, as confirmed by officials on Thursday.
This event aims to showcase the government's major achievements, flagship projects, and the strategic plan for the upcoming years.
In preparation for this celebration, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi led a high-level review meeting to assess the arrangements.
He instructed all Deputy Commissioners to organize district-level events, which will be followed by a live broadcast of the Chief Minister's address from the main event.
During this gathering, Chief Minister Saini will also distribute development grants to panchayats and urban local bodies, and issue plot allotment letters to beneficiaries under the Mukhya Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0 (Phase-II).
The Chief Secretary underscored the importance of ensuring effective arrangements, widespread public engagement, and accurate communication of the government's accomplishments at both state and district levels.
He further directed departments to coordinate efficiently for security, public outreach, and logistical support to ensure the event's success.
Additionally, the state government has provided guidance to all departments concerning the salary disbursement of newly appointed Group-D employees under the Common Cadre.
These employees began their roles on or after August 28.
In a letter issued by Chief Secretary Rastogi, it was highlighted that salaries for these personnel, who commenced work in accordance with posting orders dated August 28, have not yet been processed since their start dates.
After reviewing the situation, the state government has mandated that all outstanding salaries must be distributed from their joining date, without any delays.
These employees were recommended by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission on July 2.
Moreover, Chief Secretary Rastogi instructed all departments to ensure that the information of these employees is recorded in the Human Resource Management System portal, as the e-billing system depends on this data to generate salary bills.
Regarding the National Pension Scheme (NPS), the state government clarified that only two months' salary can be released without a PRAN (Permanent Retirement Account Number).
After this timeframe, PRAN generation becomes essential for ongoing salary payments.
