Ranchi, Jan 15 (NationPress) Jharkhand's Chief Minister Hemant Soren has landed in Zurich, Switzerland, on Thursday to take part in the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos. His mission is to highlight the investment potential of the state on an international stage.
Upon his arrival at Zurich Airport, he was warmly welcomed by India’s Ambassador to Switzerland, Mridul Kumar. Accompanying him is an official state delegation, which will make their way to Davos the following day.
Taking to social media, CM Soren expressed his excitement about representing both Jharkhand and India at this prestigious global forum.
He emphasized that the WEF serves as a crucial platform for dialogues on inclusive development, balancing economic progress with environmental sustainability.
This official delegation, led by the Chief Minister, marks Jharkhand’s first organized participation in a significant global economic event.
The state aims to position itself as an 'Infinite Opportunity State' to draw in long-term global investments.

As part of this UK visit, CM Soren will deliver a special lecture and engage in a dialogue session at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University, which will be a first for an Indian Chief Minister.
