Hyderabad, Feb 19 (NationPress) The Cyberabad police have taken into custody a young man and a minor boy in connection with the sexual assault of a minor girl.
Authorities are also searching for another minor boy implicated in this case.
The 16-year-old girl, previously reported missing on February 17, was located by Narsingi police in Chanicherla double-bed rooms the following day.
As per the Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Sherilingampally zone, the victim's mother filed a report on February 17, indicating that her daughter, who was living with her grandmother in Puppalaguda for educational purposes, left for school on the morning of February 16 and failed to return. Despite extensive searches, her location remained unknown, prompting the registration of a First Information Report (FIR).
During the investigation, Narsingi police exerted all possible efforts to locate the missing girl. On the morning of February 18, she was found in the Changicherla double-bedrooms and safely rescued.
The inquiry revealed that on February 7, the minor girl had visited the Charminar area for shopping where she met a 16-year-old boy from Talab Katta. They maintained contact via phone.
On February 16, she traveled to the Madina area to see him without notifying her family. The pair spent time together at Charminar. Later that night, the minor boy, along with two accomplices including another minor boy, all from Talab Katta, forced her into an auto and took her to Chengicherla double bedrooms, where they threatened her with a knife. They coerced her into consuming alcohol and subjected her to physical and sexual violence.
