Bengaluru, Oct 2 (NationPress) AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge conveyed his heartfelt greetings on Thursday in honor of Gandhi Jayanti, emphasizing that the principles of truth, non-violence, and satyagraha (passive political resistance) continue to serve as a source of inspiration for us.
In his message, Kharge quoted Mahatma Gandhi, stating, "Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained."
Taking to X, Kharge remarked, "The ideals of truth, non-violence, and satyagraha — which illuminated the path of peace for the entire world — will forever remain a beacon of inspiration for us, as imparted by the great architect of the Indian freedom movement and the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi."
Kharge further noted, "In times when his principles are challenged, we stand firm by following the path laid out by Bapu, guided by his teachings. On this Gandhi Jayanti, I extend my sincere greetings to all fellow citizens."
