New Delhi, Sep 26 (NationPress) India and the European Union have initiated an ‘Ideathon’ aimed at tackling marine plastic litter. This initiative invites applications from startups, researchers, businesses, and other stakeholders across India and the EU to collaboratively develop innovative and practical solutions for this critical global concern.
Dr. Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary at the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (OPSA) to the government, emphasized that the ‘Ideathon’ is a joint endeavor to create solutions that are not only globally pertinent but also locally actionable.
“The Ideathon on combating marine plastic litter exemplifies the shared vision of India and the EU in creating solutions that have a global impact, addressing the issue of plastic pollution in both Indian and European contexts,” stated Maini.
