New Delhi, June 8 (NationPress) Concluding a significant diplomatic mission across six European nations under 'Operation Sindoor Outreach', Indian Members of Parliament firmly stated that terrorism originating from Pakistan will not be accepted and will be regarded as an 'act of war'. This marks a decisive shift in India's international communication regarding cross-border terrorism.
Headed by senior BJP MP and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation traversed through France, Italy, Denmark, the UK, Belgium, and Germany.
The mission aimed to strengthen bilateral relations, enhance global awareness of the terrorism impacting India, and showcase a united stance on national security.
Upon completing the tour, Ravi Shankar Prasad emphasized the global condemnation of the recent terrorist act in Pahalgam, Jammu & Kashmir.
“Our delegation began in France, moved on to Italy, then to Denmark (Copenhagen), followed by England, Belgium, and Germany. In each nation, we engaged in discussions with MPs, ministers, think tanks, media, and the Indian diaspora. It was clear that there was universal outrage regarding the recent attack in Pahalgam. Every country condemned it and showed their solidarity with India,” he stated.
BJP MP Ghulam Ali Khatana delivered one of the most powerful messages of the tour, asserting: “We made it unequivocally clear: terrorism from Pakistan will not be tolerated. Any such actions will be treated as acts of war. This message was conveyed firmly to our European counterparts, and the international community has taken it seriously.”
Daggubati Purandeswari, another BJP MP, remarked that the outreach aimed to unveil the persistent threats facing India.
“Our mission focused on defending India and highlighting the menace of terrorism that has afflicted our nation for decades. We presented evidence, engaged with MPs, officials, and even the diaspora, receiving robust moral backing from all fronts,” she noted.
AIADMK MP M. Thambidurai commented: “We brought Pakistan’s underhanded activities to the global stage. Everyone we interacted with was convinced. This was a remarkable opportunity, and I extend my gratitude to Prime Minister Modi for facilitating this outreach.”
The visit culminated in Germany from June 5 to 7, where the delegation received affirmative diplomatic feedback and reiterated India's zero-tolerance approach toward terrorism.
Officials have termed the tour a crucial step in reinforcing India’s global partnerships while addressing the escalating threat of state-sponsored terrorism.
