Dubai, Nov 17 (NationPress) India is poised to exhibit a broad range of its defence and aerospace strengths at the Dubai Air Show 2025, taking place from November 17-18. Sanjay Seth, the Union Minister of State for Defence, will spearhead the Indian delegation at this significant event in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The Indian team will include senior officials from the Defence Ministry, the Department of Defence Production, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), and representatives from the Armed Forces.
During the event, Minister Seth is scheduled to conduct a bilateral meeting with his UAE counterpart to explore opportunities for enhanced defence cooperation.
Furthermore, he will oversee an industry roundtable featuring approximately 50 companies from India, the UAE, Australia, the US, Brazil, the UK, and Italy, focusing on advancing defence technology collaboration and boosting manufacturing prospects in India.
Additionally, Minister Seth will inaugurate the India Pavilion, showcasing displays from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, DRDO, Corel Technologies, Dantal Hydraulics, Image Synergy Ekxplor, and SFO Technologies.
Nineteen Indian companies, including Bharat Forge, BrahMos, Tech Mahindra, and HBL Engineering, will operate independent booths, while 15 Indian startups will showcase their innovations and products.
The Indian Air Force will participate with performances by the Suryakiran Aerobatic Team and an exhibition of the indigenous LCA Tejas.
Regarded as one of the world's foremost aerospace events, the Dubai Air Show occurs biennially and attracts over 1,500 exhibitors and more than 148,000 industry experts from 150 countries, featuring leading global companies like Bombardier, Dassault Aviation, Embraer, Thales, Airbus, Lockheed Martin, and Calidus.
This year, for the first time, the airshow will be held in the evening, introducing nighttime networking events such as 'Party on the Runway' at Skydive Dubai and 'Airshow After Dark', which will include live entertainment and a drone show.
The public SkyView arena will feature flight displays and family-friendly activities throughout the week. Attendees can look forward to aerobatic performances, meet-and-greet sessions with pilots, food trucks, and a new VIP viewing area.
