New Delhi, Feb 16 (NationPress) The Indian Navy's First Training Squadron (1TS), which includes INS Sujata and ICGS Veera, engaged in various professional exchanges and media interactions during their training mission at Sihanoukville Port in Cambodia, as confirmed by an official on Sunday.
Senior officers from the Indian Navy met with Mang Sineth, the Governor of the Sihanoukville region, along with senior personnel from the Royal Cambodian Navy (RCN), according to a spokesperson from the Indian Navy at the Naval Headquarters and DPR, Ministry of Defence.
A Small Arms Simulator was presented to the Royal Cambodian Army, as mentioned in a post on the social media platform X.
This port visit, occurring from February 14-17, is part of the squadron's Long-Range Training Deployment to South East Asia.
The ships received a warm welcome on Friday from representatives of Cambodian maritime agencies, as stated in a release.
