He emphasized that 'Operation Sindoor' represents India's firm stance against terror, stating that terror and trade, as well as terror and dialogue, cannot coexist, just as water and blood cannot flow together. This strong message followed the Indian Armed Forces' successful 'Operation Sindoor', which struck terror launchpads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in retaliation for the heinous April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that tragically took the lives of 26 innocent civilians.

In recent days, we have all observed the resilience and strength of our nation. First and foremost, on behalf of all Indians, I extend my salute to our courageous armed forces, intelligence agencies, and scientists. Our valiant soldiers exhibited extraordinary bravery in achieving the goals of Operation Sindoor. I honor their valor, which I dedicate to every mother, sister, and daughter of our nation.

The brutality showcased by terrorists in Pahalgam on April 22 stunned not only our nation but the entire world. The ruthless murder of innocent individuals in front of their loved ones based on their faith was a horrifying manifestation of terror and cruelty. This act was a vile attempt to disrupt our national harmony.

Personally, I found this event deeply distressing. Following the terrorist attack, the entire country, across all communities and political affiliations, united in demand for decisive action against terrorism. We granted our forces complete authority to eradicate these threats. Today, every terrorist and terror organization understands the repercussions of attacking our sisters and daughters.

Operation Sindoor is not merely a title; it embodies the sentiments of millions across our nation. This operation signifies our resolute commitment to justice. On the night of May 6 and the early hours of May 7, the world witnessed this pledge materialize. Indian forces accurately targeted terror hideouts and training facilities in Pakistan.

The terrorists could never have predicted that India would make such a bold move. However, when the nation stands united, prioritizing national interests, decisive actions are taken that yield results.

As India's missiles and drones struck terrorist strongholds in Pakistan, it not only dismantled the physical structures of these organizations but also severely undermined their morale.

Locations like Bahawalpur and Muridke have become breeding grounds for global terrorism. Major terrorist incidents worldwide, including 9/11 and the London Tube bombings, find their roots intertwined with these hideouts.

In response to the terrorists who erased the Sindoor of our sisters, India retaliated by dismantling their headquarters. Over 100 notorious terrorists were neutralized during these operations.

Many terrorists, who had roamed freely in Pakistan for decades plotting against India, were eliminated in a single stroke.

Pakistan was greatly disheartened and enraged by India’s actions.

In its confusion, it resorted to cowardly actions. Instead of supporting India’s fight against terrorism, Pakistan launched attacks on India.

Pakistan targeted our educational institutions, places of worship, and civilian residences, even attacking military bases.

However, in this act, Pakistan exposed itself. The world observed how its drones and missiles fell helplessly against India’s robust air defense systems.

Pakistan had planned an offensive at the border, but India struck at the core of Pakistan. Our drones and missiles executed precise attacks, inflicting substantial damage on their airbases, a blow that Pakistan had never anticipated. Consequently, following India’s assertive actions, Pakistan began seeking ways to retreat.

Pakistan appealed to the global community for de-escalation. After sustaining significant losses, its military contacted our DGMO on May 10. By then, we had extensively dismantled terrorism infrastructure.

The terrorists were eliminated, and we destroyed the camps situated in the heart of Pakistan. Thus, when Pakistan expressed its intent not to engage in further terror activities or military provocations, India took this into consideration.

Let me reiterate, we have merely paused our retaliatory actions against Pakistan’s terror and military establishments. In the coming days, we will assess Pakistan’s every move based on its forthcoming actions.

Thirdly, we will not distinguish between governments that sponsor terrorism and those who orchestrate these acts. Throughout Operation Sindoor, the world has once again witnessed the true face of Pakistan, as high-ranking Pakistani military officials bid farewell to fallen terrorists. This serves as compelling evidence of state-sponsored terrorism. We will continue to take decisive measures to safeguard India and our citizens from any threats.
