New Delhi, June 29 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that India is making remarkable progress across various sectors, particularly in healthcare and social protection. However, we committed to eradicating it, and I am thrilled to announce that the World Health Organisation has recognized India as Trachoma-free,” PM Modi remarked.
He attributed this achievement to the unwavering dedication of health workers and initiatives like the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and the Jal Jeevan Mission.
“This accomplishment is a tribute to our health workers who battled this disease with great determination. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was instrumental in its eradication, while the Jal Jeevan Mission has made a significant impact.
