Bhopal, May 26 (NationPress) Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar remarked on Monday that by halting the Indus Waters Treaty (IWT), Prime Minister Narendra Modi has conveyed a powerful message indicating that India will no longer accept cross-border terrorism.
He emphasized that PM Modi has accomplished what had been unattainable for decades. Through ‘Operation Sindoor’, India has demonstrated to the world that it has transformed.
"Our Prime Minister has clearly stated that water and blood cannot coexist. The world has been taken aback by the unity of Indians following the Pahalgam terror attack and India's decisive action in response via ‘Operation Sindoor’. This signifies a new Bharat," the Vice President stated while addressing the ‘Krishi Udyoga Sammelan’ in Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh, where MP Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav were also present.
During his speech, the Vice President highlighted that this time Pakistan did not demand proof, as the terrorists had inadvertently offered evidence of Operation Sindoor to the international community.
"The world witnessed the coffins of those terrorists being escorted by Pakistani military officials and politicians. This was a significant response from India. Our PM has made it clear that if Pakistan attempts future terror attacks, India will annihilate them completely," he asserted.
In other remarks, he celebrated India’s achievement of becoming the fourth-largest economy globally, stating, "Today, India has surpassed Japan, and soon we will also exceed Germany to become the world's third-largest economy."
He described this as a proud moment for the nation, emphasizing that this milestone was reached thanks to contributions from all sectors, particularly farmers.
Addressing the audience of farmers, agriculture-focused entrepreneurs, and industrialists, Dhankhar urged that farmers can play a pivotal role in propelling India toward development, but they require support.
