Indore College Student Discovered Deceased in Hostel, Investigation Launched

Bhopal, Dec 5 (NationPress) A female student, who was studying for her bachelor's degree in interior design, was discovered deceased under suspicious circumstances on Thursday in Indore, Madhya Pradesh.
She was found unconscious at a hostel in the morning and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The victim has been identified as Kashish Badhwani, a resident of Gwalior.
The hostel where the incident took place is under the jurisdiction of the Lasudia police station. After receiving the report, a police team arrived at the hostel and commenced an investigation into the situation.
The student was located lying unconscious outside a bathroom in the hostel, where she had resided for the past couple of years. She was discovered by one of her hostel mates, who promptly notified the staff.
According to the police, the parents of the deceased are based in Gwalior and have been informed of the tragic event. In the meantime, the police have sent her body for post-mortem examination.
Badhwani was enrolled in a private college in the city, pursuing her bachelor's degree in interior design, and was living in a private hostel.
During questioning, hostel mates informed the police that Badhwani had been feeling upset for unknown reasons and had ceased communication with others for the previous couple of days.
The police also discovered that she had stopped responding to calls from her father, M. Badhwani, and had not confided any issues to her peers in the hostel.
The police conducted a search of her hostel room; however, it remains unclear whether the case involves suicide or murder. College friends, hostel mates, and staff members are currently being questioned, according to officials.
"It is premature to draw any conclusions; however, initial investigations indicate a possible suicide. The exact cause will be determined after the post-mortem results," stated a police official.
To date, over a dozen individuals have been interrogated, yet the police have not uncovered any definitive evidence to advance the investigation. Authorities have recovered her mobile phone and plan to scrutinize her call records.
