Jaipur and Jaisalmer Set to Emerge as Global Economic Hubs, Asserts Dharmendra Pradhan

Jaipur, December 11 (NationPress) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated on Wednesday that India is on the verge of emerging as the globe's most influential economy by 2047, with Rajasthan taking a leading role under the stewardship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Minister Pradhan remarked, "Just as the Gulf nations act as epicenters of the global economy, Jaipur and Jaisalmer are destined to evolve into vital economic centers for the world economy in the future, with this summit being crucial in realizing that vision."

He emphasized the entrepreneurial drive of Rajasthan, pointing out that entrepreneurs from the state have made their mark on a global scale, with each Rajasthani reaching new heights in both economic and social fields.

The Union Minister declared that the Central government would back the establishment of cutting-edge technology labs in Rajasthan's top educational institutions, including IIT Jodhpur and the Central University.

He praised the state for achieving an impressive 11 percent growth rate despite its difficult geographical challenges, attributing this success to the dedication and resilience of its citizens.

Speaking at the closing session of the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit on Wednesday, Minister Pradhan applauded the state government for organizing the summit during its inaugural year under the leadership of Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma.

He expressed optimism that Rajasthan is establishing new standards for development under CM Sharma's guidance.

Minister Pradhan stressed that Rajasthan is not merely a hub for capital generation but also a knowledge-driven economy, home to world-class institutions such as IIT, IIM, and AIIMS.

He highlighted the necessity for the nation to focus on job creators instead of job seekers, asserting that the entrepreneurial spirit is deeply embedded in the people of Rajasthan.

Minister Pradhan pointed out that most of the MoUs signed at the summit were related to the energy sector, describing it as a major advancement.

He noted that after the USA and China, India ranks as one of the largest energy consumers worldwide.

According to him, Rajasthan is at the forefront of green and renewable energy initiatives, with investments in this sector expected to provide resources, generate revenue, and enhance infrastructure throughout the state.

He remarked that Rajasthan, once labeled a "BIMARU" state, has evolved into a burgeoning powerhouse, symbolizing its progress and development initiatives.
