PM Modi Visits Jaipur to Launch Rising Rajasthan Summit and Global Business Expo

Jaipur, Dec 9 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi has landed in Rajasthan to commence the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit on Monday at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) located in Sitapura. Additionally, he is set to inaugurate the Rajasthan Global Business Expo.

During the inaugural session, PM Modi is expected to deliver a keynote address.

Industrialist Gautam Adani was seen arriving in Jaipur on Sunday evening to participate in the summit.

Later in the evening, Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma hosted a special dinner for the visiting industrialists at CMR, where guests enjoyed an array of traditional Rajasthani cuisine.

The inaugural session will see the attendance of significant industrialists, Union Ministers, members of the state Cabinet, over 5,000 investors, business leaders, trade officials, and other esteemed delegates.

CM Bhajan Lal Sharma will commence the session with a welcome speech, highlighting the state government's agenda and its ambitious vision of tripling Rajasthan's economy to $350 billion within the next five years.

The government claims to have amassed investment proposals totaling around ₹30 lakh crore during the summit.

On this noteworthy occasion, PM Modi will also launch the Rajasthan Global Business Expo, which will showcase exhibitions across various sectors, including the Rajasthan Pavilion, Country Pavilion, Startup Pavilion, and key Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs).

This expo aims to highlight Rajasthan's economic potential, existing strengths across diverse sectors, and the state's forward-thinking policies that create a business-friendly atmosphere.

The three-day summit will include country-specific sessions and thematic discussions on essential sectors.

Notably, the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave, MSME Conclave, and 12 thematic sector sessions will serve as a platform for detailed discussions on challenges, technological advancements, and emerging opportunities.

The 12 thematic sessions will encompass a range of topics, including women's entrepreneurship, machine-tool manufacturing, water management, sustainability, sustainable energy, healthcare, sustainable mining, startups, education, sustainable finance, agribusiness, tourism, infrastructure, and supply chain management.

Experts, industry leaders, and government officials from across the nation and abroad will engage in these discussions.

The state health minister remarked that the volume of MoUs reflects the narrative of a Rising Rajasthan, setting it apart from other summits.

The state industries minister expressed that Rajasthan will narrate a story of development as job opportunities expand and the state’s GDP receives a significant boost.
