With 'Rising Rajasthan', the state aims for a $350 billion economy

Jaipur, Dec 8 (NationPress) In pursuit of the vision to establish the state as a $350 billion economy over the next five years, the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit will commence on December 9.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will serve as the chief guest, delivering the inaugural address.
This event will bring together industrialists, investors, and ambassadors from 32 countries, with 17 designated as partner countries.
Attendees will include several Union and State Cabinet members, over 5,000 investors, business and trade officials, along with delegates. MoUs for investment proposals amounting to Rs 30 lakh crore have already been finalized.
Notable business leaders scheduled to attend include Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Agarwal, Anand Mahindra, and Sanjeev Puri.
To ensure security, at least 4,000 policemen, including 11 IPS officers, have been deployed.
Around 180 special guests, including investors, businessmen, and ambassadors, are expected, with four five-star hotels reserved for their accommodation.
Additional Commissioner (Law and Order) Rameshwar Singh stated that stringent security measures have been implemented for the Prime Minister's visit and the summit.
The JECC campus has been transformed into a security stronghold. Comprehensive security arrangements are in place throughout the city. During the event, two IPS officers along with other police personnel will oversee traffic management.
In addition to the inaugural and country sessions, the summit will feature the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave, MSME Conclave, and thematic sessions across 12 sectors. Numerous experts from both domestic and international backgrounds, along with senior officials from industry and government, will engage in discussions addressing significant challenges, technological advancements, and emerging opportunities.
On the summit's second day, the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave will assemble migrant Rajasthani individuals from around the globe to foster collaboration.
The third day will focus on MSME entrepreneurs, investors, and experts from various fields, alongside officials from the Central and Rajasthan governments, to deliberate on the future challenges and preparations for this sector.
The partner countries participating in the summit include Denmark, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Malaysia, Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Nepal, Oman, Poland, and Thailand.
Additionally, participants from the US, UK, Germany, Australia, Indonesia, Egypt, Finland, Russia, Seychelles, Chad, Ecuador, Ghana, Iraq, Madagascar, Paraguay, and Zimbabwe will also be present.
