Rajasthan's Rising Summit Set to Make a Comeback in 2026, States CM Sharma

Jaipur, Dec 11 (NationPress) In a significant announcement, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma stated that the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit will take place once again in 2026. The Chief Minister affirmed that the state government is committed to effectively executing the MoUs that were signed during the Rising Summit.
On December 11 of the following year, a comprehensive review of the implementation of all signed MoUs will be presented to the public.
Chief Minister Sharma expressed confidence, stating, "Our state is brimming with immense opportunities and has the capability to reach new heights in entrepreneurship and development. Rajasthan is becoming a new nucleus of innovation and an investment hub."
He revealed that the summit has already secured MoUs exceeding Rs 35 lakh crore.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister highlighted that the state government has made substantial decisions aimed at fostering industrial growth within Rajasthan.
Funds exceeding Rs 1,200 crore have been allocated to establish 11 industrial zones, along with land allotments for five new industrial areas, while the Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation Ltd. has planned eight additional industrial areas.
Sharma stated: "Our government is dedicated to showcasing Rajasthan's rich cultural heritage on the global platform, and we are committed to doubling the number of GI tags in the next three years. Products with GI tags will transition from rural areas to global markets, realizing the vision of 'Vikas Bhi Virasat Bhi' advocated by our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi."
He emphasized that micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) form the backbone of the state's industrial framework.
According to him, the MSME sector contributes approximately 25 percent to Rajasthan's GSDP and plays a pivotal role in exports.
These industries are crucial for inclusive economic growth, fostering innovation, and generating employment across various sectors, he added.
Chief Minister Sharma mentioned that the state government has introduced the Rajasthan Investment Promotion Policy-2024 along with nine other policies aimed at enhancing investment opportunities.
He also noted the importance of empowering exporters, stating that the government has enacted the Rajasthan Export Promotion Policy 2024, which offers financial support for export-related processes and documentation through the Chief Minister Export Growth Campaign.
Furthermore, he mentioned, "With the Integrated Cluster Development Scheme 2024, we have allocated funds to assist artisans, weavers, and handloom clusters by establishing raw material banks."
Sharma added that the slogan of 'Vocal for Local' is being promoted through the implementation of the 'One District One Product' Policy - 2024, which will help preserve and enhance traditional arts.
