PM Modi to Launch the ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Investment Summit in Jaipur on December 9

Jaipur, Dec 7 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit 2024 in Jaipur on December 9.
As the Chief Guest, PM Modi will give the inaugural address at the summit, taking place at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Centre (JECC). The event is expected to attract over 5,000 dignitaries, including prominent industrialists, diplomats, trade representatives, and investors from around the world.
The inaugural ceremony will commence with a welcome speech by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, who will present the state’s development agenda and its ambitious target to double its economy to $350 billion within a five-year timeframe.
Over the course of three days, the event will feature participation from 32 countries, with 17 designated as 'Partner Countries.' Notable industrialists such as Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Agarwal, Gautam Adani, Anand Mahindra, Sanjiv Puri, and Ajay S. Shriram will be in attendance. Diplomats, including Japanese Ambassador Keiichi Ono, will also be present.
The summit has already kicked off impressively, with MoUs valued at ₹30 lakh crore signed prior to the event. This significant milestone highlights Rajasthan’s status as a desirable investment hub.
Key sessions will focus on fostering bilateral cooperation between Rajasthan and participating nations, featuring eight dedicated 'Country Sessions' for enhanced engagement. Partner countries include Japan, Denmark, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, and Spain, while other attendees come from nations such as the US, UK, Germany, and Australia.
The summit will shine a spotlight on 12 key sectors through thematic discussions, including women entrepreneurship, sustainable energy and mining, water management, healthcare and startups, and education and infrastructure.
These discussions will delve into Rajasthan’s dedication to harnessing innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity to drive economic growth.
A Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave will take place on December 10, designed to connect Rajasthanis living abroad, nurturing a sense of community and exploring collaborative possibilities with the state.
The MSME Conclave will follow on December 11, where MSME entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry leaders will discuss sectoral challenges and emerging prospects.
The ‘Rising Rajasthan’ Global Investment Summit 2024 is poised to be a significant event, establishing Rajasthan as a global center for investment, innovation, and sustainable development. With a robust schedule of activities and influential participants, the summit aims to accelerate the state's journey towards economic transformation.
