A Milestone in Realizing a Developed India: Rajasthan CM as PM Launches Summit

Jaipur, Dec 9 (NationPress) The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) situated in Sitapura. Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma, in his welcome address, emphasized that the summit represents a pivotal step in realizing the dream of a developed India.
During the event, he also toured an exhibition and engaged in block printing on fabrics.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma presented the PM with a sandalwood sword, symbolizing valor.
Arriving at JECC on Monday morning, PM Modi explored a handmade exhibition that highlighted the state’s rich traditions in craftsmanship.
Upon his arrival at Jaipur airport around 10:10 A.M., he was greeted by former CM Vasundhara Raje Scindia, BJP state president Madan Rathore, and Haryana in-charge Satish Poonia, among various other leaders.
After a brief stay of approximately 7 minutes at the airport, the PM proceeded to the Jaipur Exhibition and Convention Center (JECC) in Sitapura.
Once at JECC, he toured the exhibition showcasing handmade products and was observed engaging in hand printing on textiles.
CM Bhajan Lal Sharma accompanied him during this visit.
In his welcoming speech, CM Sharma expressed, "It is a moment of pride for Rajasthan to have this summit inaugurated by PM Modi. Under your leadership, India is progressing towards becoming the third-largest economy. The nation has reached new heights under your guidance."
He added, "The Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit marks a significant step towards realizing your vision of a developed India. We have implemented new policies and avenues to facilitate business operations. An impressive 33 lakh crore MoUs have been signed prior to this event."
Additionally, the PM tweeted, "Rajasthan is renowned for its vibrant populace, endowed with a remarkable entrepreneurial spirit. The state presents numerous investment prospects. I eagerly anticipate participating in the Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit today."
Notable industrialists such as Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anand Mahindra, and Anil Agarwal are also taking part in the event.
However, several MLAs, including Tijara (Alwar) MLA Baba Balak Nath, Khandela (Sikar) MLA Subhash Meel, Sanchore MLA Jivaram Chaudhary, and Bikaner West MLA Jetharam Vyas, were denied entry into JECC, resulting in frustration for Baba Balak Nath and MLA Subhash Meel, who then chose to leave.
