Jaipur, May 9 (NationPress) To honor the remarkable achievements of the Indian Armed Forces in executing Operation Sindoor, which focused on dismantling terrorist facilities in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC) organized a 'Jai Hind Yatra' on Friday. The procession commenced from the Congress Headquarters, Indira Gandhi Bhawan, and concluded at the Shaheed Smarak in Jaipur.
The event was designed to pay tribute to the valor and sacrifices made by the Indian Armed Forces personnel while also uplifting their spirits in these challenging times.
A significant number of Congress leaders and supporters, including the Leader of Opposition Tika Ram Jully, Congress MLAs, state officials, former Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of Boards and Corporations, along with leaders of various frontal organizations, took part in the yatra.
At the Shaheed Smarak, Congress leaders laid floral tributes to the martyrs and offered a respectful salute to the nation's armed forces. The Congress Seva Dal provided a formal guard of honor to the martyrs in a gesture of respect.
Swarnim Chaturvedi, General Secretary and Media In-Charge of RPCC, remarked, “This yatra is a tribute to the courage and commitment of our armed forces who continue to protect our nation with unmatched dedication. The Congress Party stands united with the Army and the people of India in these testing times.”
The yatra was led by Govind Singh Dotasra, President of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee, to celebrate the bravery of the Indian Army and boost the morale of our armed forces. Chaturvedi added that the Armed Forces had successfully undertaken actions under Operation Sindoor against the terrorists responsible for the deaths of innocent civilians.
This yatra, aimed at honoring the valor displayed by the Armed Forces in defending the country, was organized from the RPCC Headquarters in Jaipur to the Shaheed Smarak under the leadership of Govind Singh Dotasra.
