Jaipur, Dec 29 (NationPress) Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma remarked on Tuesday that the Indian Army represents the pride and honor of every citizen, owing to their bravery, sacrifice, and commitment to safeguarding the nation.

In a historic move, for the first time, a magnificent Army Day Parade will be conducted in Jaipur beyond the confines of the military cantonment on January 15, along Mahal Road in Jagatpura.

The Chief Minister urged citizens statewide to turn out in large numbers to witness and understand the heroic legacy of the Indian Army.

During a review meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Monday, Sharma assessed the preparations for the 78th Army Day celebrations. He instructed officials to ensure all arrangements are in place to guarantee a smooth and grand event.

Detailed instructions were provided regarding seating, transportation, traffic management, parking facilities, and security at the parade venue. Army officials informed the Chief Minister that the main parade is set for January 15, with public rehearsals scheduled for January 9, 11, and 13.
