Patna Dec 11 (NationPress) JD (U) MP Lovely Anand, on Wednesday, criticized Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav for his controversial comments regarding Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, deeming them inappropriate and disrespectful to women.
Anand contended that such remarks not only undermine the Chief Minister but also attack the dignity of women.
Her statements reflect the growing outrage triggered by Lalu Yadav's comments, as she underscored that his words are unbecoming of an individual who has once served as the Chief Minister of Bihar.
The JD(U) MP further urged Lalu Prasad Yadav to maintain the decorum expected from a senior political figure.
Moreover, the JD(U) women's wing organized a protest march, demanding an apology from Lalu Prasad Yadav.
They condemned the RJD supremo's choice of words and emphasized that such conduct is inappropriate for a veteran politician when addressing an elected Chief Minister.
This incident underscores the escalating political tensions in Bihar, with JD(U) leaders uniting to defend Nitish Kumar's honor and denounce what they perceive as a violation of political etiquette by Lalu Prasad Yadav.
Following the defeat of the JD(U) candidate in the Tirhut Graduate MLC by-election, Lovely Anand called for introspection and a collective assessment to pinpoint the reasons for this electoral setback.
Despite the loss, she highlighted the NDA's robust performance, pointing out its victories in the by-elections for four Assembly seats in Bihar.
When questioned about her husband and influential leader Anand Mohan Singh's comments regarding Chirag Paswan, Lovely Anand clarified that those remarks were intended as guidance and reiterated that there is no discord within the NDA in Bihar.
Anand reassured that the NDA alliance remains united and dedicated to its goals, indicating confidence in its stability and collaborative spirit.
