Patna, March 24 (NationPress) Leaders from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in Bihar have responded strongly to Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) National President Lalu Prasad regarding his assertive statement that "no one can prevent Tejashwi Yadav from becoming the Chief Minister."
In an interview with IANS, Janata Dal (United) MLC and spokesperson Neeraj Kumar criticized Lalu and Tejashwi Yadav, claiming, "Tejashwi Yadav is afflicted by political Pitri Dosh (ancestral curse)."
Kumar referred to Lalu's remarks, stating, "I have previously mentioned that no 'Mai Ka Laal' would dare label Nitish Kumar a traitor. I want to remind Lalu Prasad that even imitation requires intelligence. Every youth of Bihar who identifies as a 'Mai Ka Laal' will prevent Tejashwi Yadav—an accused in the land-for-job scam—from assuming the role of Chief Minister."
Neeraj Kumar alluded to the ongoing investigation into the land-for-job scam, where Tejashwi Yadav remains under scrutiny.
Bihar BJP spokesperson Niraj Kumar echoed similar thoughts, ridiculing Lalu's statements by asserting, "Lalu Prasad is merely daydreaming about Tejashwi becoming the Chief Minister. The citizens of Bihar will soon teach RJD a lesson and curb their political aspirations."
He further mocked Lalu, insisting, "He may continue dreaming, but it will never materialize."
The sharp responses followed Lalu Prasad’s comments during a public event on Sunday at Jamuniya, Kotwa block in Motihari.
While addressing the crowd, Lalu Prasad proclaimed, "No one can stop Tejashwi Yadav from establishing the government in Bihar this time (Koi Mai Ka Laal Tejashwi Yadav ko Sarkar Banane Se Nahi Rok Sakta Hai)."
During his speech, Lalu called on the public to support the RJD. He promised to launch the 'Mai Behin Maan Yojana,' a welfare initiative aimed at empowering women and enhancing social welfare.
"We are committed to serving the underprivileged and marginalized. Once RJD takes charge, we will implement the 'Mai Behin Maan Yojana' along with our other welfare commitments," Lalu assured the audience.
