New Delhi, Jan 23 (NationPress) Jharkhand is poised to honor the legacy of the renowned industrialist Ratan Tata through its tableau during the Republic Day festivities, highlighting his lasting impact on both the state and the nation.
The focal point will be Jamshedpur, a city significantly shaped by the business leader, famously recognized as India's first 'steel city'.
Situated in the southeastern part of Jharkhand, at the junction of the Subarnarekha and Kharkai rivers, Jamshedpur symbolizes India's industrial strength.
Founded by Jamsetji Tata, who established a steel plant there in 1911, Jamshedpur has evolved into the largest urban center in the state and a key industrial and transportation hub.
