New Delhi, Nov 4 (NationPress) The Emerging Science Technology Innovation Conclave, ESTIC 2025, signifies a remarkable advancement in deep-tech for India, as stated by Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Jitendra Singh on Tuesday.
Scheduled from November 3-5 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, the event aims to gather more than 3,000 participants from various sectors including academia, research institutions, industry, and government, alongside Nobel Laureates, distinguished scientists, innovators, and policymakers.
On the social media platform X, Singh highlighted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled three groundbreaking innovations developed by Indian innovators with assistance from the Department of Science & Technology.
The innovations include QSIP: India’s own quantum security chip; 25-qubit QPU: the nation’s first quantum computing chip, paving the way for future computation; and CAR-T Cell Therapy: the first indigenous cancer cell therapy in India, comprising 2 chips + 1 therapy, as noted by Singh on X.
These are described as significant breakthroughs that illustrate India’s emergence as a global leader in science and technology, he added.
During the event, Singh recounted India’s accomplishments in science and innovation over the past decade under PM Modi's leadership.
“Prime Minister, you prioritized science and innovation at the highest level. You made citizens recognize that the pathway to progress in the 21st century relies on scientific and innovative objectives. You also emphasized the necessity of achieving a developed India,” the Minister remarked.
“You advocated for Startup India and Standup India from the Red Fort, and we witnessed a surge to 170,000 startups, making us the third highest globally. You initiated the Gaganyaan mission from the Red Fort.
“You promoted biotechnology Bio E3 from the Red Fort. You called for a vaccine from the Red Fort. You initiated the Deep Ocean Mission from the Red Fort,” Singh stated.
Singh emphasized that ESTIC 2025 serves as a platform for young innovators, startups, and researchers to present innovative solutions, seek mentorship, and connect with industry stakeholders.
With the theme Imagine, Innovate, Inspire, the event aims to mark the final phase of India's journey towards destination 2047, he concluded.
