New Delhi, Nov 3 (NationPress) In a significant advancement for the nation's research and development landscape, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil the Rs 1 lakh crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund today.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Emerging Science and Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025 at Bharat Mandapam and will address attendees during this pivotal event.
The RDI Scheme Fund is designed to foster a private sector-led research and development ecosystem in India.
The ‘ESTIC 2025’ conclave, scheduled from November 3 to 5, will gather over 3,000 participants, including academia, research institutions, industry representatives, and government officials, alongside Nobel Laureates, distinguished scientists, innovators, and policymakers.
As per a statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), discussions will revolve around 11 critical thematic areas, such as Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, Artificial Intelligence, Bio-Manufacturing, Blue Economy, Digital Communications, Electronics and Semiconductor Manufacturing, Emerging Agricultural Technologies, Energy, Environment and Climate, Health and Medical Technologies, Quantum Science and Technology, and Space Technologies.
“ESTIC 2025 will feature presentations by leading scientists, panel discussions, and technology demonstrations, serving as a platform for collaboration among researchers, industry leaders, and emerging innovators to fortify India’s science and technology framework,” the statement continued.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Science and Technology, emphasized that ‘ESTIC 2025’ is an opportunity for young innovators, startups, and researchers to present breakthrough solutions, obtain mentorship, and network with industry stakeholders.
Designed as an outcome-centric forum, ‘ESTIC 2025’ aims to celebrate stakeholder contributions while stimulating collaborations among researchers, entrepreneurs, industry players, and funding organizations.
