New Delhi, Aug 31 (NationPress) Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya joined the special National Sports Day edition of ‘Fit India – Sundays on Cycle’ on Sunday, a nationwide campaign designed to foster fitness, healthy living, and community engagement through cycling. The event showcased vibrant participation from across the nation, highlighting the increasing momentum of the Fit India Movement initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During his address at the event, Mandaviya remarked, “In celebration of National Sports Day, we are observing a three-day National Sports Festival. On the inaugural day, millions across the nation gathered in parks for an hour to promote sports. The second day featured sports conclaves held at more than 200 locations nationwide. On the final day, the ‘Sundays on Cycle’ event is hosted at over 10,000 sites throughout the country.”
Mandaviya later shared on his X handle, stating, “No engine, no noise, Pedal towards a self-reliant India... Kartavya Path.”
