New Delhi, Feb 15 (NationPress) The Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, will participate in a vibrant gathering of cyclists in Mumbai during the Fit India Sundays on Cycle event on February 16. Emphasizing the initiative's theme of ‘Fight Obesity’, the cycling journey will commence at the Gateway of India and conclude at Girgaon Chowpatty starting from 7 am.

Joining the Sports Minister will be notable personalities including Micky Mehta, a Life Coach and Fit India Ambassador, Shaina Nana Chudasama, an Indian Fashion Designer & Social Worker, Bhairavi Naik Joshi, Director and CEO at BYCS India Foundation, Krishna Prakash, IPS Additional Director General of Police - Maharashtra, and Sanjay Bhatia, IAS Upa-Lokayukta, Maharashtra State, alongside lifestyle wellness coaches from the Maharashtra Yoga Associations and Heartfulness Institute.

This cycling initiative will also occur simultaneously at various locations across the nation. Shivani Pawar, who earned a bronze medal at the 2024 Senior Asian Wrestling Championship and a gold medal at the 2025 National Games, will participate in the cycling event in New Delhi, starting at 8 am.

Representatives from Decathlon, Cult. Fit, the Sports Authority of India National Centre of Sports Sciences and Research (NCSSR), and wellness coaches from Yogasana Bharat will also join the cycling group in the national capital. The cycling ride in New Delhi will begin and end at the Major Dhyanchand Stadium.

This cycling initiative is a nationwide event held on Sundays, with activities taking place simultaneously at SAI Regional Centres, National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs), and Khelo India centres (KICs).
