Gwalior/New Delhi, September 30 (NationPress) Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia convened a virtual meeting on Tuesday to assess the advancement of development initiatives in his Lok Sabha constituency located in Madhya Pradesh's Guna.
Joined by district collectors, various administrative officials, and BJP MLAs from the Shivpuri and Guna districts, as well as State Energy Minister Praduman Singh Tomar, the meeting was conducted virtually from New Delhi.
Scindia, who regularly conducts such meetings—either during his visits to his home district Gwalior or virtually—focused this time on matters related to traffic management and the widening of roads at key locations in Guna and Gwalior.
He urged the district administration to ensure that all underdeveloped projects, including the expansion of urban roads and other significant initiatives, are completed within the established timelines.
Furthermore, he instructed public representatives (MLAs) and local BJP workers to reach out to residents in remote villages to ensure that they benefit from government schemes.
He stated, "Shivpuri is undergoing a transformation and developing steadily. The results should be evident on the ground. Expanding roads will not only facilitate smoother traffic but also beautify the city to attract tourists."
Jyotiraditya Scindia was elected as the Guna Lok Sabha MP following the tragic death of his father, senior Congress leader Madhavrao Scindia, in a plane crash on September 30, 2001. He has maintained a strong connection with the constituents of his political stronghold.
He experienced a significant political setback by losing the Lok Sabha election in 2019.
In March 2020, he ended his long-standing association with Congress and joined the BJP.
On the anniversary of his father's death, Jyotiraditya Scindia shared a photo with his father on X without any caption.
As per official information, Jyotiraditya Scindia is scheduled to visit Gwalior on Wednesday and will meet the public at his residence, Jai Vilas Palace.
