Bengaluru, July 30 (NationPress) The President of BJP Minority Morcha, Jamal Siddiqui, announced on Wednesday that in honor of International Youth Day, notable youth from minority communities will be recognized at the BJP headquarters in Delhi on August 12.

During a press briefing at the Karnataka BJP Office, known as Jagannath Bhavan, he elaborated on the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Youth Startup Award.

Siddiqui emphasized that the legacy of former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam remains prominent among BJP members and the nation’s citizens.

He remarked that Kalam dedicated his life to educating children, viewing them as the future of India.

Criticizing the Congress and other political factions, he expressed that they have neglected the values promoted by former President Kalam, a true nationalist who envisioned a unified and developed India.

He accused these parties of venerating divisive figures instead of honoring genuine national leaders.

According to Siddiqui, the BJP aims to connect youth with leaders who have demonstrated dedication, sacrifice, and discipline for the nation.

He stated, "Hailing from humble beginnings, former President Kalam ascended to the pinnacle of the Indian constitutional framework. To commemorate his legacy, the 'Kalam Ko Salaam' initiative is being held nationwide to celebrate successful young entrepreneurs. An online submission form is available on the BJP and Minority Morcha websites," he remarked.

Furthermore, Siddiqui noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prioritized the development of Karnataka.

He expressed regret that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah did not attend the recent inauguration of the Sigandur bridge by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

He criticized the Congress for previously conducting a caste census without implementing its results.

Now, with the Congress initiating another caste census, he claimed this will also be disregarded like its predecessor.

He raised concerns that the caste divisions within Christian and Muslim communities are overlooked during the census.

On the issue of the Waqf scam, Siddiqui stated that the recommendations from Anwar Manippady's report were not acted upon, leading to legal action in the Karnataka High Court.

He firmly stated that the public will not forgive the Congress government in Karnataka for such policies.

On the same day, the BJP Minority Morcha organized a state-level workshop for the Youth Startup Award at the BJP headquarters in Bengaluru.

Among those present at the press meeting were State BJP Minority Morcha President Anil Thomas, State party General Secretary Indrakumar Jain, National Social Media Co-Coordinator Jaswant Jain, Former Minority Morcha President Abdul Azeem, Syed Salam, Former Chairman of Minority Development Corporation Mukhtar Pathan, Former Chairman of the Christian Development Committee Shantakumar Kennedy, Jury Committee member Sheikh Talib, and various other party leaders.
