Mumbai, April 22 (NationPress) Kalpana Pawar, spouse of police constable Ambadas Pawar, who lost his life during the terrorist attack in Mumbai on November 26, 2008, has received the appointment as the probationary Deputy Superintendent of Police.

The appointment order was issued by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis at ‘Mantralaya’ on Tuesday, marking her as a probationary Deputy Superintendent of Police.

Pawar expressed that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has continually worked towards ensuring justice for the common populace while at the helm of the state.

“The Chief Minister, who makes decisions in favor of the common citizens of the state and is cherished by the women of the state, has demonstrated his empathy towards the martyrs by appointing the spouse of a fallen policeman directly to the role of Deputy Superintendent of Police,” Pawar stated, conveying her appreciation to the Chief Minister and the state government.
